Celtic snapped up Greg Taylor on deadline day earlier this month.

Kilmarnock’s Dom Thomas has told The Scottish Sun that he thinks Greg Taylor can become Celtic’s answer to Andrew Robertson having joined earlier this month.
Celtic were in the market for a couple of left backs this summer having lost both Kieran Tierney and Emilio Izaguirre, meaning they needed to replenish their ranks.
Boli Bolingoli came in from Rapid Vienna, and when Tierney moved on to Arsenal, Celtic swooped to land Scotland international Taylor from Kilmarnock.
The 21-year-old was a boyhood Rangers fan and came up through the Gers ranks, but has now chosen to move on to Old Firm rivals Celtic in a bold move.
Taylor has yet to make his Celtic debut, and will face a battle to get into the Celtic side ahead of Bolingoli, who has nailed down the position over the last couple of months.
Now, former Celtic man Thomas has backed Taylor to be a real success at Parkhead, even comparing him to Liverpool star Robertson in the way that he has rebounded after being released by a big club.

After all, Robertson was released by Celtic as a kid but came back to become a star, and the same can be said for Taylor, who Thomas feels will succeed now he’s made his move to Celtic.
“You look at Andy’s story, and I hope it’s the same for Greg,” said Thomas. “He is a tough boy and he has a good family behind him. Greg was brilliant for us at Killie and I am sure he has watched guys like Andy grow as a player. Getting a knock like he did early on was never going to stop him. Hopefully it’s plain sailing for him now.”
“I don’t see it being a problem for Greg to go and play for Celtic. He takes things in his stride. You saw the way he came from the Kilmarnock youths into the first team. At 21, he was playing for Scotland, so he will handle anything in front of him. He is level-headed and will do well. I remember Greg stepping in when Killie were in the play-offs against Falkirk to stay up. He never looked back after that but he works hard every day and now has his reward,” he added.
