Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after the Liverpool Echo revealed that Naby Keita is expected to return to training this week.

What’s the story?

Well, the £120,000-a-week man has been missing since Liverpool drew 2-2 with Brighton on October 30th.

Keita has been suffering with a hamstring injury, which kept him out of Liverpool’s wins over Atlético Madrid and Arsenal.

The 26-year-old also missed the 3-2 defeat to West Ham, as the 25-game unbeaten run came to an end.

One silver lining to come from Keita’s injury was an opportunity for Tyler Morton, with the 19-year-old making his debut against Arsenal.

As exciting as that is, however, Jürgen Klopp will have surely missed the 38-cap Guinea international’s intensity in the middle of the pitch.

Before Keita’s injury, he was arguably playing his best football since arriving from RB Leipzig for £52.75m.

The Liverpool No.8 shone in the 5-0 win at Old Trafford, scoring the opening goal while also pressing Manchester United superbly.

Keita also scored a wonderful volley against Atlético Madrid, and also against Crystal Palace – he was in tremendous form.

So, his return will be a huge boost for Liverpool, and it’s come at an ideal time for Klopp with a hectic festive schedule on the horizon.

Hopefully, Keita can avoid anymore injuries this season, and help the Reds snatch the Premier League title back from Manchester City.

For now, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about Keita…
