Whatever Mo Salah can do, well his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane can match.

On Saturday evening, Mane netted a quite stunning solo goal for Senegal as they beat Namibia 4-1 in their World Cup qualifier.

Mane channelled his inner Salah by beating several players whilst bursting through on goal and then guiding the ball into the back of the net.

It may have not been against the quality of opposition in which Salah danced his way past, but that’s two Liverpool players scoring solo goals within a week of one another.

In Mane’s case, he fronted up the opposition, before showcasing his quick feet, beating one man, riding another challenge, driving forward, beating another man before placing the ball into the bottom corner.

When Salah scored against Man City, he used his weaker right foot and Mane did the same by using his weaker left foot.

All of this is a great sign for Jurgen Klopp because Mane has shown since the first kick of the ball this season that he is back to his best.

Just like a number of Liverpool players last season, the £34 million player’s (BBC Sport) form did dip off and he looked like a complete stranger out on that field.

But that zip, sharpness and efficiency is back in Mane’s game, which just increases Liverpool’s chances in the Premier League title race this season.

Here is a selection of supporters reacting to Mane’s goal yesterday:
