Some Arsenal fans on social media are rather worried after an image emerged of Granit Xhaka wearing a knee brace.
Xhaka picked up an injury against Tottenham at the weekend when Lucas Moura took a tumble and collided with the 29-year-old’s knee, and it seems as though he’s picked up a rather serious problem.
It has been reported on social media that the midfielder has suffered a ruptured ligament, which would reportedly keep him out for around two months, but as of yet, that diagnosis is unconfirmed.
Regardless of what the injury is, it has to be said that this doesn’t look good. Footballers aren’t put into knee braces unless they absolutely have to be, and we can only assume that this is an issue that will keep the Swiss international out for a number of weeks.
As you can imagine, Gunners supporters are rather worried after seeing this picture of Xhaka and they’ve been expressing their panic on social media.
