Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club posted a tweet about Odsonne Edouard yesterday, amid talk of him reuniting with Brendan Rodgers.
The Daily Mail revealed that Leicester believe they’ve won the race for the French striker, in a deal worth £15 million.
That article was published on the same day of Celtic’s tweet about the former Paris Saint-Germain attacker, which seems to have worried some supporters.
The tweet in question was about Edouard’s 83 goals for the Bhoys, and includes the man himself talking about the ones that meant the most to him.
It included his wonderful curled finish against Rangers in 2018, which put Celtic in front despite them having ten men at the time.
It was a nice idea by the media team at Celtic Park.

However, one supporter tweeted that it feels like an advertisement for the 23-year-old. Another added that it felt like a farewell video.
The way in which he’s reflecting on his time at the club does feel quite like a departure video, although talk of him leaving is just speculative at this point.

Nevertheless, that didn’t stop supporters taking to their keyboards in panic.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about the club’s Edouard tweet…
