Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Onomah has been on loan at Villa so far this season.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he is able to recall Onomah in January, should he feel Spurs need the youngster.
Steve Bruce now appears to be covering for that possibility already.

Villa are already reportedly making a move for Liverpool youngster Grujic, and he could be a direct replacement for Onomah.
Grujic is naturally a central midfielder, but he is comfortable going forward and playing as a creative influence.
Onomah has been given exactly the role at Villa, for the most part, with the Spurs loanee being used regularly.

Onomah hasn’t been in particularly great form of late, but he has shown glimpses of quality during his time at Villa Park, and Spurs may feel that the 20-year-old could inject some quality in to their squad in the second half of the campaign.
And Bruce’s transfer plans may just hint act he feels Onomah could leave in the near future.
