Scott Hogan has scored just one goal for Aston Villa since signing.

Scott Hogan could be facing his most important two months at Aston Villa to date, as he looks to kickstart his career at Villa Park.
Hogan moved to Villa from Brentford last January, but he has found goals hard to come by during his time at the Midlands club.
The 25-year-old has scored just once for the claret and blues in 23 appearances, and it could be getting to the point where he faces a make-or-break spell in Steve Bruce’s side.

Bruce has shown good patience with Hogan to date, but Villa’s attacking options are stronger now Jonathan Kodjia is back and available.

And that time could give Hogan a chance to stake his claim to be Villa’s leading striker, if he can find some goals.
Kodjia is capable of playing out wide, and may be used in that role, if Hogan can start showing his top form.
However, if Hogan continues to struggle, then he may lose his place leading the line to Kodjia, and that could be the beginning of the end for his Villa career.
