Aapo Halme hasn’t made a Championship appearance for Leeds United in this calendar year.

Leeds United’s Pontus Jansson has been ruled out for up to three weeks today, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.
The Sweden centre-back, who has also pulled out of international duty, suffered a knee injury in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat by Sheffield United at Elland Road.
With eight Championship games to go, it’s a big blow for third-placed Leeds, who will have to bring somebody else in for games against Millwall and Birmingham City it seems.
And could Marcelo Bielsa recall Aapo Halme during Jansson’s layoff?
The Finnish centre-back, who stands at 6’4, hasn’t played a Championship game for United in 2019 but Jansson’s injury should open the door for his return.
Halme, who has six senior appearances under his belt this season, has impressed when called upon by Bielsa and the Argentine must bring him in from the cold.
He hasn’t been named in a matchday squad for a Championship game in over a month and although he might not start alongside Liam Cooper in Jansson’s absence, Bielsa simply needs to at least have him on the bench going forward.
