Paul Lambert has left his role as Wolverhampton Wanderers manager after just seven months, with the BBC reporting the decision was made after a dispute with the owners over who had the final say in signing new players.
The same report states that Portuguese, Nuno Espirito Santo, is set to take the Wolves job after leaving his own position at Porto.

But what next for Lambert?
Well the 47-year-old may not be out of a job for long, with managerless Sunderland having previously been interested in the former Aston Villa and Norwich City boss.
According to the Sunderland Echo, while not one of the favourites Lambert is being considered for the position vacated by David Moyes at the end of the 2016/17 season.

While a 15th-placed finish with Wolves in the Championship last term might not greatly impress Black Cats fans, the Scot does have previous when it comes to getting out of the second tier.
Lambert oversaw back-to-back promotion with Norwich in 2010 and 2011, taking the Canaries from League One to the Premier League and then keeping them in the top flight in 2011/12.
