Will Leeds be able to sign Jack Harrison again from Manchester City?

Jack Harrison and Patrick Roberts are two talented English players who find the path to the first team blocked at Manchester City.
It’s understandable given the elite standard required to break through, but in the case of Roberts at least, City are reluctant to give up on him.
Roberts was sent on loan to Norwich for the season yesterday, a move which may offer a clue over City’s plans for Harrison, who spent last season at Leeds.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report Leeds want to re-sign Harrison, favouring another loan switch.
Manchester City permitting Patrick Roberts to go out on loan to Norwich has to be an encouraging sign for Leeds.

While in theory it is an obstacle out of Harrison’s path at City, it really reinforces that there is no room for young talent to break through in their position on City’s wing.
Roberts and Harrison are both 22. It would have been easy for City to sell Roberts. Instead they have decided to extend his contract and send him out on loan.
City prefer to hold onto the player’s registration and send him out.
It’s likely the same will happen in Harrison’s case. It’s up to Leeds to present themselves as the best option for him.
