Tottenham Hotspur failed to make a single signing during the summer transfer window.

Dembele has played regularly for Spurs this season, while Wanyama has been used as a back-up option on frequent occasions.
The midfield pair are both talented players, but there is a feeling that Mauricio Pochettino wants to look at other options.
And if Spurs are open to the idea of selling the duo, then they must have plans to bring in new players.

Tottenham’s midfield has looked short already on occasion this season.
Although Harry Winks is fully fit again, and they have Eric Dier to pick, beyond that Spurs only have a limited choice of players to choose from.
And letting Dembele and Wanyama go without a new signing coming in, just simply wouldn’t make sense.
