Manchester United manager says it is hard to buy players from their rivals.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has bemoaned the increasing competitiveness of the Premier League making the transfer market more difficult for him.
Speaking to France Football he explained that the finances of Premier League clubs means there there are certain clubs he cannot buy players from.
“Here, everyone is powerful now. The scenery has changed. If I want to buy a player from Tottenham, I can’t.
“Nor can I buy a player from Manchester City or Arsenal. That was not the case before.”
“At Chelsea, I brought in Shaun Wright-Phillips, who was the best player at Manchester City or Ashley Cole from Arsenal. Sir Alex, when he wanted the best player from Tottenham, he bought Michael Carrick and then Berbatov.”
Amid recent speculation linking Everton’s Romelu Lukaku with an exit, it is interesting to note that Mourinho does not note the Toffees among clubs he does not expect to be able to buy from.

In fact United have moved players in the opposite direction, selling Morgan Schneiderlin in January, with Wayne Rooney speculated by The Independent to be a candidate to also switch to Goodison Park.
If Everton are really as ambitious as they intend to be, they must resist selling Lukaku to their rivals, and show that they belong in the company of club Mourinho mentions, who cannot be raided by ‘top teams’.
