Manchester City are making early waves in the transfer market.
Monaco’s Bernardo Silva celebrates scoring their first goal
Manchester City have wasted no time getting to work in the transfer window early this summer.
Less than a week after the Premier League season ended, City clinched a deal for Monaco attacker Bernardo Silva.
SkySports report Silva set them back £43 million, and they appear set to follow this up by signing Ederson from Benfica, with The BBC reporting they will spend £33 million on the goalkeeper.

They don’t look likely to stop either, with the Manchester Evening News reporting they are preparing to spend £300 million this summer.
Among their top targets is reported to be Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker, with The Sun reporting City are ready to make a £40 million offer.
Their early transfer activity suggests this could be imminent, with City determined to get their business done early.

There is a clear advantage to this, giving both player and manager ease of mind and ensuring the new signing is ready to join up and take part in pre-season.
Walker’s deal could though be delayed by his current involvement for England on international duty.
For Tottenham it might make sense to cash in early – if they are going to – so the money is available to spend on new players themselves.
Yet chairman Daniel Levy has shown in the past he is happy to let a transfer saga drag out all summer in order to get an extra few million.
City may not stand for this, and the indications are so far that they intend to press Tottenham into a decision early.
If Spurs don’t play ball, then there is plenty of time – and money – to focus towards an alternative.
