While Bridcutt was present at the event, he was not one of the ‘chosen’ players – a little odd considering he is the club captain.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Middlesbrough boss Garry Monk is keen on signing Bridcutt.
Bridcutt’s non-inclusion on stage last night does not suddenly mean he will be sold, but it is not a sign he is deemed irreplaceable either.

The midfielder’s status as captain is not assured for next season, and it might make sense that Leeds hand the armband to Pontus Jansson if Bridcutt is not an automatic pick.
Leeds are stacked with midfield options, with Vurnon Anita and Mateuz Klich adding competition to Bridcutt along with Eunan O’Kane, Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips.
Last night was a sign he is not on firm ground with regards to his place in the side, which could potentially even translate into an exit if new boss Thomas Christiansen is not convinced. At the very least, it is a sign a new captain could soon be announced.
