Tottenham Hotspur new man Fabio Paratici has already been described as a ‘machine‘ this summer.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs’ new managing director has a tireless work ethic during the summer transfer window.
The former Juventus director is charged with the task of supplying Nuno Espirito Santo with the quality needed to have a good first season in North London, for both of their sakes.
And the Italian certainly looked embedded into his work on Wednesday night.
The Lilywhites had a pre-season friendly with Colchester United and although Paratici was in attendance, he seemed more interested in speaking on his phone.
Here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to the photos, posted by Alasdair Gold of Football London:
Bodes well
Remember, Paratici helped to win no fewer than 19 trophies during his time in Turin.
And considering Tottenham haven’t won one since 2008, it certainly does bode well that the North Londoners have somebody of this skill and dedication at the club.
Nobody has been signed as of yet – apart from Nuno – but Bryan Gil and Pierluigi Gollini look set to complete moves from Sevilla and Atalanta respectively.
But Spurs absolutely need more quality to come in, having finished seventh in the Premier League last season.
However, with a ‘machine’ at the club, you wouldn’t back against Paratici making a lot more interesting moves.
