Rangers playmaker Forrester has enjoyed a prosperous season-long loan with AFC Wimbledon.

Harry Forrester is set to return to Rangers at the end of his loan spell with English League One side AFC Wimbledon, but should imminent new Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard give the playmaker a second chance?
Liverpool legend Gerrard remains in talks with the Scottish giants over replacing Graeme Murty at the end of the season, after Murty was relieved of his duties following last Sunday’s 5-0 loss to Celtic.
The current squad has plenty of issues that need sorting out when the new manager finally arrives at Ibrox, and one of those is the future of 27-year-old attacking midfielder Forrester.

The former Doncaster Rovers and Brentford star has shone in the third tier of English football, helping Wimbledon avoid relegation with three goals and an impressive eight assists during his time down south.
Forrester, though, is set to return at Ibrox after bidding farewell to a Wimbledon fan on Twitter, and a decision must be made on his future after he was ostracised by former boss Pedro Caixinha.
Known for his intricate footwork and vision that allows him to link up the midfield and attack, Forrester is the kind of player that can unlock a defence with a flick of his right foot – something missing from Rangers’ side at times this season.

Josh Windass has been used in the number 10 role but he has proved more effective as a striker, while Carlos Pena’s future at Ibrox is all but over after he was sacked by loan club Cruz Azul in Mexico.
Forrester has a year on his contract but showed just what he can do at Wimbledon, in a side that managed just 45 goals in 45 league games all season.
Gerrard must afford Forrester the chance to resurrect his career at Ibrox, and the chance to extend his deal beyond the end of next summer.
