Having previously attracted the interest of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City as well, a battle is emerging over who will eventually sign the exciting youngster.

Still only 17-years-old, this season Arp became both the first footballer to play in the Bundesliga and first to score in the division who was born since the year 2000.
To date the forward has two goals in eight first team appearances since progressing from the academy having impressed at youth level for both club and country, netting 12 times in ten games for the Germany Under-17s this year at the Euros and World Cup.
However, despite the competition for his signature, Spurs may have a trump card when it comes to attracting Arp to the white half of North London as the teenager names Harry Kane as his “role model”.

“There are many good strikers that you can learn a lot from by watching. But if there was just one player I had to pick as my role model, it’s Harry Kane,” the German said.
“He plays the way I want to play. He’s pacy and very comfortable with and without the ball. It’s difficult to stop him. You need to pay attention for 90 minutes because he can score at any time.”
