Speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, Kaide Gordon has been full of praise for his teammate Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian has, to put it bluntly, been brilliant this season. He once again finds himself at the top of the Premier League’s scoring charts, while he’s also chipped in with a number of assists.
Salah’s ridiculous form has led to many describing him as the best player in the world right now, and that’s a view that Gordon seemingly agrees with.
What’s Gordon said about Salah?
The young winger was full of praise for the 29-year-old.
“He is the best player in the world right now, so watching him and the extras he does really helps. It pushes me to try to get onto his level.
“The different types of positions he picks up, he scores from anywhere, he doesn’t just stay out wide, he drifts inside and things like that, so that’s definitely helped.
“He does a lot of work in the gym and he helps me with that as well; I’ve done some sessions with him. Mo really helps.
“I definitely couldn’t have a better role model, Mo does everything right.”

Undeniable
At this point, it’s almost undeniable that Salah is the best player on the planet.
On current form, nobody comes close. He’s ripping it up in the Premier League and in the Champions League, while he’s also finding the back of the net at the African Cup of Nations with Egypt.
Gordon couldn’t ask for a better mentor at Liverpool, and the Reds couldn’t ask for a better player than Salah right now.
