Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers could have one last chance.

The Daily Mail report Tottenham Hotspur are willing to sell Cameron Carter-Vickers this summer.
After a decent but unremarkable campaign on loan at Swansea City, Carter-Vickers’ chances of breaking into the Tottenham first team look tough.
However, this summer’s Copa America has provided Carter-Vickers with a small window of opportunity to catch manager Mauricio Pochettino’s eye.
The team report for pre-season today and defenders Juan Foyth and Davinson Sanchez are not expected as their seasons have only just finished this past week.
Carter-Vickers is the third most available senior centre-back behind Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld – who could end up being transferred away due to the clause in his contract.
So for a fortnight at least, Carter-Vickers has a chance to shine on the training pitch with his talent and attitude.
He was not selected in USA’s Gold Cup squad this summer, which is a blessing in disguise as otherwise he would not be available.

Tottenham could look to promote another youngster like teenager Japhet Tanganga, but there is some sense in giving Carter-Vickers another shot, in pre-season matches too.
It will be a chance for him to try and show he has become a better player by being out on loan, while Spurs could put him in the shop window during pre-season to try and attract buyers.
