Aston Villa signed Kortney Hause a little earlier this month.

Aston Villa are reportedly keen on Ben Gibson.
According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa have tried to sign the Burnley centre-back on a half-season loan this week.
Gibson, who joined the Clarets for £12 million last summer [Sky Sports], would be an excellent addition.
But does even trying to sign him indicate that Villa boss Dean Smith isn’t sold on Wolverhampton Wanderers stalwart Kortney Hause?
Hause joined the Villans on loan from Wolves 23 days ago but has managed only 27 minutes of Championship football since then, having been an unused sub in the last two games.
If Smith liked his early impressions of the big centre-back then surely he wouldn’t be trying to sign yet another one.
It’s worth remembering that Hause has missed a hell of a lot of football at Wolves, but even still, the fact that Tommy Elphick is playing ahead of him is bad news.
Plus, Smith still has Axel Tuanzebe to return from injury, meaning that Hause could be behind him, James Chester, Elphick and now Gibson, if he joins from Burnley.
It’s still early days for Hause, but it doesn’t look as if he has made a huge impression to the Aston Villa manager as of yet.
