Wolves’ model has worked brilliantly this season, but it required them to bring in a number of players from the continent.
And Radrizzani may need reminding of the promise he made Leeds fans last month now.
He told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “From now on we will be far more focused on the domestic market, particularly the young players.”
Of course, there is still time for Leeds to move for domestic targets, but as it stands, they appear to be heavily scouting across Europe.
Leeds supporters have criticised the club’s transfer approach this term, with many of Victor Orta’s signings failing to impress.
And another season of bringing in players with no experience of English football, would be a big risk for Leeds to take.
