Manchester City fans think Harry Kane will be donning their colours after it was announced they will face Tottenham on the opening day of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
There has been a lot of speculation as to what will happen with Kane this summer, with the Spurs hitman attracting interest from a number of clubs.
Sky Sports reported in May that Kane has once again expressed a desire to leave the club and Man City are one of the sides looking to bring him to the Etihad.
Well, it’s going to be interesting to see what team Kane will be on when Spurs welcome the Premier League champions to North London in August.
Given the fact that Daniel Levy hasn’t appointed a new manager yet, it wouldn’t be a surprise if fans are a little worried about losing their star man this summer.
One thing is for sure, the club isn’t helping themselves because it’s not like they are riding a wave and flying high.
They just finished the recently concluded campaign in seventh spot and missed out on Champions League football once again.
And given that Sergio Aguero left the Etihad this summer, it’s pretty obvious that Pep Guardiola and Co. will be looking for that new number nine.
If finishing as the Premier League’s highest goalscorer and assist-maker doesn’t attract interest then nothing will.
