Rodney Marsh has criticised Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Joe Hart on Twitter.
The former Queens Park Rangers and Fulham forward has suggested that Hart should have done better for the second goal that he conceded against LASK in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
In the 84th minute, Johannes Eggestein took advantage of poor defending and shot on goal.
Although Hart did get a hand to the ball, the former Manchester City goalkeeper – who joined Tottenham in the summer of 2020 on a free transfer after leaving Burnley – could not keep it out.
The 33-year-old should have actually kept it out, and Marsh has criticised the Englishman on Twitter.
Progressing in Europa League
Hart’s failure to keep out the second goal for LASK did not matter in the end, as Tottenham have still progressed to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
It finished 3-3 in the end, and although defensively the North London outfit were found wanting, at the end of the day, they got the job done and will now have European football beyond Christmas.
Spurs will now turn their attention to the North London derby against Arsenal this weekend.
