Championship table-toppers Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Al Sadd’s Algerian international Baghdad Bounedjah.

According to Le Buteur, the Championship table-toppers are interested in signing Baghdad Bounedjah in January, having failed in an attempt to bring him to Elland Road in the summer.

In each of the last two seasons, Bounedjah has averaged more than a goal a game. In 2018/19, his tally stands at a remarkable 26 in 13 matches. Yes, that is 26 goals in 13 games.
As a result, the Algerian international is on track to end the calendar year as the most prolific player anywhere in world football, having netted 60 goals for club and country. Among his many eye-catching achievements, Bounedjah finished as the top scorer in the Asian Champions League. Suddenly, £13 million looks like a snip.
