Arsenal goalkeeper Emi Martinez has not made a Premier League appearance all season and is ideal for Leeds United.

Leeds United might not be planning to push the boat out in the January transfer window but there is one position that the Championship leaders simply need to strengthen.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are eyeing a new goalkeeper to replace the stricken Jamal Blackman, who saw his loan spell from Chelsea come to a premature end after suffering a broken leg in November.
The report claims that Marcelo Bielsa’s side have made an enquiry about Newcastle United’s £4 million-rated understudy Karl Darlow while Rangers’ bench-warmer Wes Foderingham has also been linked, via the Express.
But if Leeds are searching for a ‘keeper who will be crying out for game-time, look no further than Emiliano Martinez.
AS Argentina claimed in January that the seldom-seen Arsenal stopper was potentially on his way to Elland Road, only for a deal to fall through at the end of the transfer window. 12 months on, however, Martinez would surely jump at the chance to leave the Emirates for West Yorkshire.

With Bernd Leno and Petr Cech ahead of him in the pecking order, the 26-year-old has made just one appearance all season – the 1-0 Europa League win against Qarabag earlier this month.
Leaving Arsenal either on loan or on a permanent basis could be exactly what Martinez needs considering that the arrival of Unai Emery has hardly boosted his first-team chances.
And an Argentine goalkeeper who is renowned for his ability to pass the ball out from the back should certainly appeal to Bielsa.
