Boca Juniors’ Argentina forward Cristian Pavon is reportedly a target for Premier League duo Arsenal and Fulham but what about West Ham United?

After a slow start to life at the London Stadium that had some suggesting Manuel Pellegrini was the wrong man for the job, the veteran coach is starting to have a transformative impact at West Ham United.
A 2-0 win at Fulham on Saturday means the Hammers have now triumphed in three successive games for the first time in December 2016. But that does not mean Pellegrini is happy with his lot.
It is understood that West Ham are hoping to put the finishing touches on a gifted attack with a marquee striker signing in January, with the likes of Emiliano Sala and Moussa Marega among those linked.
But what about Cristian Pavon? According to TEAMtalk, West Ham were keen to sign the 22-year-old Argentina international in the summer after an outstanding season with Boca Juniors, where he scored nine goals and set up 19 more in all competitions.
Versatile, quick and technically gifted, Pavon on paper looks like a perfect fit for fellow South American Pellegrini.

So the fact that a move to London appeals to him, according to the Sun (18 December, page 59), should not go unnoticed. Arsenal and Fulham are allegedly interested, with Boca demanding £40 million.
That fee would make Pavon West Ham’s record signing, but money appears to be little object at the London Stadium right now, after they spent over £100 million on new signings in the summer transfer window.
