Kenedy’s form in the Premier League at Newcastle United is said to have encouraged Spurs to keep their eyes on the highly-rated Chelsea winger.

Judging on how impressive Kenedy has been since he joined Newcastle United on loan from Chelsea in January, it seems a little odd that the disposed Premier League champions did not use the Brazilian more in a season where their squad has been stretched thin by European and domestic commitments.
It is impossible to downplay the impact Kenedy has made at Newcastle since January. Adding pace, creativity and quality in the final third, the 22-year-old has perhaps been the Magpies’ star performer since the turn of the year.
But Newcatle’s Rafa Benitez is not the only manager who is said to want to sign Kenedy permanently this summer.

According to The Northern Echo, Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on the versatile wideman, perhaps due to the fact that left-back Danny Rose and left-winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou are both facing uncertain futures in North London.
Just imagine how much Kenedy, who cost Chelsea £6.7 million from Fluminense in the summer of 2015, could develop under Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino.

But that is exactly why Chelsea surely should not let one of their most talented young players leave for bitter London rivals Spurs in the off-season.
Chelsea are ten points adrift of Spurs in fifth right now and were taken apart 3-1 at Stamford Bridge recently. And selling Kenedy to Tottenham would potentially widen the gap between themselves and a club who appear to be getting better by the year.
