Wolverhampton Wanderers are competing to bring Colombia ace Juan Quintero to the Premier League, according to reports.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have arguably the strongest squad of any team to be promoted to the Premier League this century.
The current Championship winners boast a number of players with genuine top flight quality from assist-machine Barry Douglas to Portuguese international midfielder Ruben Neves. No wonder Wolves cruised to the second tier title last season.
Although if there is one player Wolves do not have in their armoury, it is a gifted play-maker or a natural ‘number ten’. But that could be about to change.

Quintero, who is allegedly valued at £19.5 million, has been one of the breakout stars in Russia. He scored an ingenious free-kick against Japan and set up Radamel Falcao’s goal in the 3-0 battering of Poland with a superb through-ball, showing his ability to produce something unexpected out of very little.

Should Wolves win the race, Quintero would give Nuno’s side some much-needed creativity in the middle.
Until now, the Black Country giants have been very wing-heavy with Diogo Jota, Helder Costa and the two wing-backs causing most of the damage going forward, but Premier League back lines would have another worry to contend with should Quintero sign this summer.
