Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 champion could reportedly be heading to Liverpool with the Premier League giants reportedly holding talks.

Though Manchester City fans will no doubt disagree, there is certainly an argument to be made that Liverpool have the best midfield in the Premier League right now.

2018 has been a wonderful year for both Jordan Henderson and James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum has come on leaps and bound while the new signings Fabinho and Naby Keita add a huge amount of quality and energy.

So Adrien Rabiot is not necessarily needed. But if Liverpool really want to push on and prove that their captivating run to the Champions League final is not just a one off, he is the sort of signing that could push the Reds to a whole new level.

According to ESPN, Jurgen Klopp has gone as far as to talk to Rabiot over the phone in an attempt to lure him to Anfield. The 23-year-old is out of contract at PSG next year and it seems that his future lies away from the Parc des Princes.

Now, Rabiot is not the finished article yet, but he is a midfielder with genuine world class potential and very few weaknesses in an already complete skill set.

And the majority of Liverpool fans are thrilled to learn that the Merseyside club’s interest appears to be more than just gossip column nonsense.
