Dundee’s Scottish Premiership midfielder Glen Kamara has been linked with a return to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers

In five years as an Arsenal player, Glen Kamara was handed just one outing in the senior team. And that came in a 3-0 EFL Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015.

But just one year after being released by The Gunners, Kamara could return to the Premier League with a point to prove.

The 22-year-old moved north of the border to Dundee last summer when his Arsenal career was brought to an end, but quickly set about proving why he had spent half a decade in one of the most illustrious academy systems in European football. Kamara was superb for Dundee, establishing himself as one of the division’s very best midfielders.

Now, TEAMtalk claim that his form caught the eye of Scottish Premiership giants Celtic and Rangers. But both Burnley and Wolves are keen to offer the four-time Finland international a chance to prove himself in England’s top flight at the second time of asking.

Newly promoted Wolves have developed a reputation as a club where young players come to fulfil their potential, from Ruben Neves to Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa. So Kamara should surely put a lot of consideration into a move to Molineux with Wolves, backed by billionaire Chinese investors, planning for a very bright future.

And should Nuno get the best out of Kamara in the Black Country, Arsenal could end up looking rather red faced, because there’s a good chance that they got rid of Kamara too early.
