Romain Saiss has impressed whenever given a chance in the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The fall of Paulo Dybala goes on.
This time last year, Juventus’s number ten was one of the rising stars of world football, a player seemingly destined to fight for that coveted place as the planet’s number one in the post-Ronaldo and Messi era.
But the 2018/19 campaign has seen Dybala’s reputation crumble. He has scored just four Serie A goals, 18 less than last season, and his form on the international stage has not been much better.
Argentina narrowly beat Morocco in a forgettable friendly clash on Tuesday night and Dybala was once again totally ineffective as he failed to score for the 17th time in 18 caps.

But, while the reported Liverpool target (Tuttosport) is deserving of criticism, his own poor form was not the only reason why he failed to score in North Africa. Romain Saiss was man marking him after all and the Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder did a fine job shackling a forward apparently valued at £105 million, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
Saiss might not be the first name on Wolves’ team sheet, thanks to the impressive partnership of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho let alone Leander Dendoncker, but the former Angers enforcer is a reliable, combative and incredibly consistent performer.
Wolves tied him down to a long-term deal recently and, on last night’s evidence, that looks like a real coup.
