Premier League clubs have been linked with Valencia’s Spanish World Cup striker Rodrigo Moreno and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the perfect fit.

Expect the name Rodrigo Moreno to appear quite regularly in the gossip columns this summer.
Calciomercato reported back in March that the red-hot Valencia striker was on the radar of both Everton and Tottenham despite his rather hefty price tag of around £35 million. But what about Wolverhampton Wanderers?
After all, they could still do with another centre-forward with only Raul Jimenez, the Mexican international signed on loan from Benfica, arriving so far to boost Nuno Espirito Santo’s striking options.

But if Wolves were to join the race for Rodrigo, they might have an advantage. The one-time Bolton Wanderers loanee might not be a Jorge Mendes client per se, but the super-agent did play a major role in his move to Valencia from Benfica in 2015, as reported by Sky Sports.
And the 27-year-old is exactly the kind of signing who would massively improve Wolves’ attack. Rodrigo shone in La Liga last season, netting 16 goals in 31 starts before being rewarded with a place in Spain’s World Cup squad.

Quick, versatile and more clinical than he has ever been in his career to date, if Wolves want to smash their transfer record on a marquee signing this summer then the lethal Rodrigo should be right at the top of their shopping list.
