Joao Felix’s impressive form for Benfica has reportedly caught the eye of Premier League high-flyers Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers sent scouts to watch Dinamo Zagreb’s Europa League clash with Benfica on Thursday evening, according to SportSport, with Joao Felix playing the full 90 minutes for the Portuguese giants.
Felix has emerged as arguably the most in-demand young talent in European football since the turn of the year, with his outstanding performances inspiring Benfica to the top of the Primeira Liga table.
The teenager took his tally to 11 goals this season when scoring the opener during the Eagles’ 2-1 win against Porto on Saturday, a result that has given Benfica a major advantage heading into the final strait with the title on the line.
The Mirror reports that Wolves are one of many clubs across the continent hoping to convince Benfica to sell. Super-agent Jorge Mendes, who continues to pull the strings at Molineux, is likely to be central to their hopes.

Reports that Wolves sent scouts to watch Benfica in action over in Croatia will only enhance the speculation that Felix could be on his way to Molineux. The 19-year-old failed to fire this time around, however, with Bruno Lage’s side losing 1-0 in Zagreb thanks to a Bruno Petkovic penalty.
According to Record, Benfica are trying to increase his release clause to around £130 million with the transfer window just months away.
