Paul Gladon has made just one start for Wolverhampton Wanderers and is now in Belgium with Sint-Triudense VV.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have brought some truly outstanding footballers to Molineux since Fosun International seized control of the Black Country giants in 2016. Paul Gladon, however, wasn’t exactly on the same level as Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Willy Boly and co.
Wolves paid £1 million to sign Gladon from Eredivisie outfit Heracles two years ago, despite the fact he had scored just three goals in 24 games in the 2015/16 campaign. And it’s fair to say the Dutchman didn’t set English football alight either.
Gladon has made just two league appearances since arriving, totalling 96 minutes, and the only surprise is that he is still a Wolves player, albeit having been farmed out on loan to Belgian outfit Sint-Truidense VV on a four-month loan deal in August.
But has the 26-year-old found his shooting boots in the Jupiler League? Not exactly.
Sint-Truidense have played eight league games since Gladon arrived but he has hardly been a key figure. In total, the misfit forward has played one minute of football in the top flight and has been left out of the match-day squad altogether on four occasions.

This is already shaping up to be more disappointing than his short-term return to Heracles last season, where Gladon scored just six league goals in 32 games across the campaign.
His contract at Wolves expires next summer. So don’t be surprised if he leaves on a free with little fanfare.
