Will Michal Zyro ever play for Wolverhampton Wanderers again?

Michal Zyro does not have much luck. In fact, you would have been forgiven for thinking he had walked under a ladder and fallen on to a mirror on his way to signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2016. Because injuries have followed the Polish winger like a bad smell ever since.
After scoring three goals in his first three games for Wolves, Zyro’s progress was halted by a serious calf injury that put him out of action for six weeks.
Shortly after returning, the 26-year-old was forced to endure an even longer spell on the sidelines. A reckless challenge by Anthony Kay in a clash against MK Dons meant Zyro was not seen again for 17 months.
It seems that the Pole’s hopes of kick-starting his career again on loan at Pogon Szczencin in his homeland are already hanging by a thread.
Just nine minutes after coming off the bench in Friday’s clash with Arka Gydnia, Zyro suffered a seemingly serious groin injury and was stretchered off.

“After this match, we are not left without problems. The biggest one is the injury of Michał Żyro,” manager Kosta Runjaic said in quotes reported by the Birmingham Mail.
“He stayed only a few minutes on the pitch, but at that time he was helping us a lot.”
That was only Zyro’s second appearance since returning to Poland and it remains to be seen when he will be seen again. For Zyro’s sake, hopefully this layoff is not a long one.
