Arsenal’s teen sensation Reiss Nelson has made just two Premier League starts, so a spell at Championship winners Wolverhampton Wanderers could appeal.

Arsenal are one of the most renowned clubs in Europe when it comes to bringing through young talent and turning budding potential into star quality.

And, despite being just 18 years of age, Reiss Nelson has shown over the last 12 months that he has the skill, vision and natural ability to follow Jack Wilshere, Alex Iwobi and co into the Gunners’ first-team squad.

But, after making an impressive 15 appearances in his breakthrough season, Nelson would perhaps benefit from a loan move away from the Emirates Stadium first in order to get more regular first-team football under his belt.

And, as reported by Football London, Ladbrokes have made newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers the 7/4 favourites to land the England U19 star on loan for the 2018/19 season.

The likes of Fulham, Bournemouth, Leicester City and Newcastle United are all valued at under 6/1 but, if the bookmakers are to be believed, the chances are that Nelson could be wearing the old gold next season.

A spell under Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux would not do the exciting winger any harm, after all. Former Porto and Valencia boss Nuno has made skilful, speedy attacking players such as Diogo Jota and Helder Costa key to his attacking approach and Nelson would look, on paper, like a perfect fit for his system.

Any deal is almost certain to be a loan, however, with the teenager seemingly destined for big things.
