Benoit Badiashile is reportedly wanted by Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur after shining in Ligue 1 with Monaco.

Monaco fans did not have much to cheer during a dismal 2018/19 campaign which nearly resulted in their relegation, just two years after they raced to the Ligue 1 title and took the Champions League by storm.
And the fact that an 18-year-old centre-back was thrust into the limelight, and the starting XI, speaks volumes about Monaco’s mismanagement.
A series of injuries and dreadful transfer mishaps meant that Benoit Badiashile ended the season with 20 Ligue 1 appearances to his name. But at least the France U19 international gave fans something to cheer about.

Yes, he wasn’t perfect and that horrible own goal against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League showed he’s got a lot to learn. But Badiashile’s fearsome raw potential was clear for all to see.
There’s a reason why Tottenham Hotspur are interested, according to L’Equipe, with Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers prepared to pay a club-record £35 million for a centre-back who only made his professional debut in November.
Tottenham and Wolves fans have been blown away. Standing at 6ft 4ins and with the frame of a heavyweight boxer, Badiashile is clearly not your average 18-year-old.
