Premier League giants Spurs have been linked with two Championship attackers – Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Queens Park Rangers’ Eberechi Eze.

Perhaps inspired by the rapid rise of Dele Alli in North London, Tottenham Hotspur have been scouring the Football League for potential budding superstars in recent months with Jack Grealish in particular linked relentlessly with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Spurs apparently tried to sign the Aston Villa playmaker all summer but a highly-anticipated move eventually failed to materialise.
The Telegraph reported that they had a bid of £25 million rejected and, just weeks later, Grealish committed his future to his boyhood club by signing a long-term contract. The Express, however, claims that he is still on Tottenham’s radar heading towards the January transfer window.
But Grealish is not the only Championship-based number 10 on Spurs’ radar.
And in Ebere Eze, who was scouted by Tottenham in September according to The Standard, the Premier League giants could have discovered a player with even more potential than Villa’s number 10.
While Grealish has blown hot and cold this season, Eze continues to sparkle for Queens Park Rangers. The 20-year-old produced a superb performance as QPR drew 2-2 at home to Stoke City on Saturday, setting up both of Angel Rangel’s goals and creating the right-back’s first with a glorious curling cross.

Speaking to The Standard, QPR chairman Amit Bhatia made it clear that the club are not looking to listen to offers for Eze and co.
“As far as January is concerned, no-one comes in and no-one goes out. We can’t afford to let anyone go.”
But this should not put Tottenham off with Eze establishing himself as a young forward with as much potential as Grealish, if not more. Speed, skill, vision and the ability to shoot with both feet, Eze is the most talented player to emerge from QPR’s academy since a certain Raheem Sterling.
