Florian Thauvin could reportedly return to the Premier League with West Ham United after starring in Ligue 1 for Marseille.

Newcastle United fans would have had their heads buried in their hands last season as Florian Thauvin established himself as one of the most gifted attackers anywhere in European football.
The gifted wide man started just three Premier League games, scored no goals and provided no assists after his £13 million move to St James’ Park in 2015. Just a few months later, he returned to Marseille, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis.
And Thauvin has certainly set about showing Newcastle what they could have had. He scored 22 goals and set up 11 more in Ligue 1 last season and has already netted seven in ten this campaign.
Now, could a return to the Premier League be on the cards?
Calciomercato reported at the weekend that West Ham United are keen to sign the 25-year-old France international, but how much can the Hammers expect to spend?

Speaking to Sport back in February, Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud claimed that he would not cash in on Thauvin for ‘neither 100 nor 150 million’.
So it seems that West Ham would be forced to break their transfer record again if they really want to bring the impish winger back to England.
