Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic are keen to tie down PSG loanee Odsonne Edouard with the Ligue 1 starlet in impressive form at Parkhead.

Decision time is approaching for Celtic with Odsonne Edouard.
The PSG loanee had endured a stuttering start to life with the Scottish champions but has demonstrated in recent weeks just why he was known in the Ligue 1 giants’ reserve teams as ‘The Rocket’.
Edouard has now scored six goals in ten league starts for the club, his latest a sublime winner in the Old Firm derby against Rangers. Not a bad way to increase your popularity among the supporters.

And, as it stands, it would be little surprise if Celtic decided to trigger the clause in Edouard’s contract allowing them to turn his temporary deal into a permanent one.
Rodgers confirmed, via the Daily Record, that the Hoops have already struck a deal with the striker – though they still have to pay a substantial fee to ensure that the move does indeed go ahead.

So with Edouard seemingly the top priority right now, have Celtic put a reported summer deal for Celta Vigo striker Borja Iglesias onto the back-burner?
According to El Periodico de Aragorn, the Hoops are big fans of the 25-year-old Spaniard, who is in impressive form on loan at second division Real Zaragoza. Iglesias has 15 goals in 29 games this season, including six in the last six.
But it seems that, before they press ahead with a move for Iglesias, getting Edouard tied down is number one on Celtic’s checklist.
