Jorge Mendes could reportedly bring another player to Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers in Juventus’ Serie A starlet Andrea Favilli.

Earlier in the transfer window, Wolverhampton Wanderers signed Benik Afobe and then sold him to Stoke City just days later for a profit.
Now, Wolves could find themselves on the receiving end of a very similar deal.

Juventus only bought the fresh-faced prodigy from Ascoli last week for £7 million – and are now demanding £17.5 million if Wolves want to sign him before he has even made his debut in the famous black and white stripes.
It’s fair to say £17.5 million is a huge sum of money for a player whose senior experience amounts to a few games in the Italian second tier. Did we mention that Favilli suffered a cruciate ligament injury last season too, which limited him to just 12 league games for Ascoli?

Yes, Favelli is a man for the future but Wolves need signings for the present with Premier League football on the horizon. Raul Jimenez, starter of just 12 games in two years for Benfica, is their only new striker signing so far.
And they would surely be better off spending that £17.5 million on a proven centre-forward for the here and now.
