Jorge Mendes could reportedly bring Benfica’s Primeira Liga wonder-kid Joao Felix to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jorge Mendes has been absolutely integral to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ rise from the lower reaches of the Championship to the top half of the Premier League since 2016.
It is well documented that the Portuguese super-agent has an excellent relationship with the club’s Chinese owners, Fosun International, and he has brought a number of his clients to Molineux in the last three years.
Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota, Helder Costa and even manager Nuno Espirito Santo are all on Mendes’ books. As is the latest Iberian star linked with a big-money move to the Black Country.
According to the Mirror, Wolves are leading the chase for Benfica wonder-kid Joao Felix, the 19-year-old midfielder who has been likened to Cristiano Ronaldo and linked with Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Juventus by AS.
But what has Felix said about Mendes, the man who has been trusted to guide the teenager to the top of the world game?

“My father was a PE teacher, who worked as an athletic trainer and knows very well how things go in our world. He was my first and most important teacher and then I have an agent, who is a phenomenon, the best in the world, Jorge Mendes,” Felix told Calciomercato earlier in February.
Wolves fans would certainly share Felix’s admiration if Mendes brought the nine-goal play-maker to Molineux in the summer.
