Jose Enrique has said on Instagram that the only way that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool would be able to sign Jude Bellingham ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City is to do what Todd Boehly has been doing at Chelsea.
Enrique thinks that Bellingham, linked with Liverpool, is likely to join defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer of 2023.
The former Liverpool star, though, has suggested how the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners could be able to bring the £49,000-a-week (SalarySport) England international midfielder to Anfield.
Enrique has said that Liverpool should offer Bellingham a long-term contract like Chelsea have been doing to their January signings.
That would mean that the Reds would not have to worry about FFP issues in the summer of 2023.

As reported by Sky Sports, Chelsea have handed long-term contracts to Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk among others so that the transfer fee costs are spread over a number of years.
According to Marca, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid all are interested in signing Bellingham from Dortmund at the end of the season.
Marca have claimed that Madrid, who won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season, are confident of getting a deal done in the summer of 2023.
