If Southampton hire Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic, Premier League rivals West Ham United may see Ryan Fredericks slip away.

Southampton’s esteemed talent spotter Ross Wilson is one of the best around when it comes to identifying bargain signings.
And the fleet-footed Fulham right-back Ryan Fredericks is exactly the sort of player Southampton have had great success with over a golden era in the club’s recent history.
According to TEAMtalk, the Saints made an enquiry about Fredericks in the January transfer window only to be told by Fulham that they would not sell. But the ever-improving 25-year-old is out of contract in the summer, meaning he will be free to choose his own destination.

Although there is one way that Southampton can ensure they can muscle ahead of West Ham, who Football London claims have made Fredericks one of their primary summer transfer targets.
And that is by appointing his Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic.
Jokanovic has not only turned red-hot Fulham into arguably the most entertaining side in the second tier, he has turned Fredericks from an erratic talent into a bulldozing, buccaneering assist machine.

And surely Southampton would appeal to the former Tottenham youngster if Jokanovic was finally handed his big break on the south coast.
West Ham, however, will be determined not to miss out now with David Moyes making his admiration for Fredericks clear.
