Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek is reportedly a target for Premier League outfit West Ham United and La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Genoa’s decision to spend £3 million on a little known striker called Krzysztof Piatek last summer looks like an inspired one. The Poland international has been a revelation in Italy, scoring 19 goals in 21 games and his value has sky-rocketed as a result.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, West Ham United have identified Piatek as the man to replace the seemingly out-going Marko Arnautovic at the London Stadium and offered £31 million for his services.
Genoa have so far stood firm, however, making clear that they want £40 million. With West Ham showing plenty of ambition in the transfer market of late, spending over £100 million in the summer, don’t be against Manuel Pellegrini’s side rising their bid.
But what chance do The Hammers really have with Real Madrid reportedly identifying Piatek as their new superstar striker in the post-Ronaldo era?

According to AS, Real have held talks with the 23-year-old as they look to find a striker capable of competing with Karim Benzema in attack.
While Los Blancos have endured a season to forget, they are still the Champions of Europe and arguably the biggest club in world football. So, with all due respect to West Ham, a move to Madrid could be very difficult to turn down for Piatek.
