Everton have been linked with Lukas Teodorczyk for a number of months – but now West Ham appear to be leading the chase for the Anderlecht striker.

Andy Carroll may be two inches taller but Lukas Teodorczyk is hardly what you would describe as ‘diminutive’. The 6ft 1ins targetman was one of the most in-form strikers in Europe last season, inspiring Anderlecht to the Jupiler League title with a tally of 22 league goals in 38 games.
No wonder, then, that there is no shortage of interest in the Polish international. According to Tuttosport, West Ham and Liverpool are keen while Everton were linked throughout the summer.
The Mirror reported in June that they were prepared to pay £10 million for the services of a player who scored against them for Dynamo Kiev in the 2014/15 Europa League campaign.

The Toffees are badly in need of attacking reinforcements after failing to score for the third time in four Premier League games during Sunday’s damaging 1-0 home defeat to Burnley.
If West Ham beat Everton to Teodorczyk’s signature, however, it may give Ronald Koeman’s side the chance to land a player who appears the perfect fit at Goodison Park.
One in, one out?
The Sun reported on Sunday that Everton have made Andy Carroll one of their first-choice picks to replace Romelu Lukaku in the January transfer window. And West Ham are understood to be willing to consider offers for the £20 million-rated battering ram, whose £110,000-a-week contract expires in 18 months’ time.

Everton’s attack is crying out for a physical presence and Carroll, a fearsome threat in the air, could be the key to finally getting the best out of summer signings Gylfi Sigurdsson and Davy Klaassen.
And, with Teodorczyk cut from the same cloth as Carroll, West Ham landing the Anderlecht striker may just give Everton hope that a deal for Carroll can be struck.
