Liverpool are reportedly set to loan out their seldom-seen right-back Nathaniel Clyne – would he be perfect for Premier League outfit West Ham United?

Back in the heart of the summer, West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini had three right backs at his disposal – Pablo Zabaleta, Ryan Fredericks and Sam Byram.
Now, however, Zabaleta is entering the final few months of his contract, Fredericks is set for a long spell on the sidelines with injury and Byram is out on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Suddenly, a new right-back looks like it would be welcome with the January transfer window just a few weeks away. And the sudden availability of Liverpool’s England international Nathaniel Clyne has got supporters talking on Twitter.

Wales Online reported in November that Jurgen Klopp is happy to loan Clyne out in the January transfer window with Cardiff City keen. The Sun have reported that both Fulham and Leicester City are also interested.
But it seems that Clyne would be more than welcome at the London Stadium too. Fast, aggressive and attack-minded, the former Southampton man hasn’t made a single appearance all season and needs to get his career back on track after a serious back injury.
Though it seems that he’s still highly regarded outside of Anfield.
