West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are the three Premier League sides interested in signing Andre Gomes from La Liga giants Barcelona.

West Ham fans would be right to have their reservations about Andre Gomes.
Since moving to Barcelona from Valencia for £31 million in the summer of 2016, the Portuguese international has gone from one of Europe’s most promising midfielders into perhaps the most infamous flop in Spanish football right now.
And according to AS, Barca are keen to cash in on the ill-fitting Gomes during the summer with West Ham, who have been linked since August, seemingly set to renew their interest.
But despite Gomes’ dreadful form at the Camp Nou, and the fact he’s started just four La Liga games all season, West Ham are not the only Premier League club keen.

According to AS, rivals Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle David Moyes’ side for Gomes again. They nearly landed the 24-year-old last summer but Barca pulled out of the deal as they failed to sign a replacement on deadline day.
Emre Can is in the final year of his contract at Anfield and the similarities between the German and Gomes go beyond their looks and hairdo. The former Benfica star, like Can, is a powerful and dynamic midfielder who should fit into Jurgen Klopp’s vision.

West Ham boss Moyes, meanwhile, has been looking for midfield reinforcements for some time but failed to sign one permanently during January.
So with the fans frustrated once again at the lack of transfer activity, beating Liverpool and Spurs to a Barcelona playmaker would at least demonstrate some ambition.
