Bobby Reid’s 19 Championship goals for Bristol City last season could reportedly earn him a big move to West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion’s move for Bobby Reid appears to be going very quickly.
Sky Sports claimed on Saturday that the Baggies had made a £7 million bid for the Bristol City striker, who finished joint-third in the Championship’s goal-scoring charts behind Matej Vydra and Lewis Grabban last season after netting a career-best 19 goals.
The Daily Star (June 10, page 44) then reported that Bristol City were holding out for £10 million, although it seems that West Brom would be willing to meet their demands.

It is understood that Reid, who was included in the Championship’s Player of the Season selection, has no intention of signing a new deal meaning Bristol City may have little choice but to cash in on one of their prized assets this summer.

And the Mirror believes that a deal could be done by the end of the week, with Reid set to become Darren Moore’s first signing since he took over as permanent manager following the Baggies’ relegation.
West Brom are expected to lose the striking duo of Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez to Premier League sides and Reid’s arrival would go some way to replacing them.
