A reported target for Premier League champions elect Manchester City, Jonny Evans struggled as West Bromwich Albion lost at the London Stadium on Tuesday night.

Has Jonny Evans played his last game as a West Bromwich Albion player? With Baggies manager Alan Pardew telling Sky Sports recently that the club would be open to offers for 29-year-old captain, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, it remains to be seen how much longer West Brom can hold on to their star centre-back.
But if Evans does not appear for the club again, he has not exactly signed out in the most positive fashion. The in-demand Northern Irishman did not look like a £30 million player as a double from Andy Carroll condemned the Baggies to a damaging 2-1 loss at West Ham on Tuesday night.

Evans was arguably at fault when Carroll cancelled out James McClean’s opener in the second half, allowing the Premier League’s most fearsome aerial threat a running jump inside the area.
It was the West Ham target man who struck again in stoppage time, consigning Pardew to another disappointing result and West Brom to a 20th top flight game without a win.
And West Brom fans were quick to question Evans’ performance in the aftermath. The former Manchester United defender has not been quite as imperious in recent months and, on this evidence, perhaps West Brom should take the money and run.
